Simon co-founded bdhSterling with fellow director Paul Davies in the UK in 2009. Simon holds the Diploma in Financial Planning in both the UK and Australia and is recognised as a leading expert in cross border financial planning between the two countries.
He has spent time working in the UK and Australian operations and has an intricate understanding of the issues that migrants face and is passionate about helping clients to achieve their goals. During his career he has provided financial advice to thousands of migrants, in a diverse range of countries, as well as consulting to other financial planning professionals. He specialises in retirement planning, SIPP, QROPS and SMSF advice, and investment portfolio management.
Prior to forming bdhSterling Simon began his career in UK Financial Services in 1998 with Legal and General, working within their Corporate Pensions division. In January 2004, Simon joined a boutique UK IFA firm that specialised in providing financial advice to expatriates where he held the position of Operations Manager.
