John Hopkins

For over 40 years, John Hopkins has provided informed advice on general economic issues, investment and property. He has helped thousands of Australians to make prudent decisions on securing their financial future.

Through his national business, the John Hopkins Group, John has helped clients purchase more than $4.5 billion dollars’ worth of investment properties. John is able to bring his philosophies and strategies to our valued partners and clients.

John was the benefactor and founding chairperson of the Property Investment Association of Australia (PIAA) now called Property Investment Professionals of Australia (PIPA), a not-for-profit organisation established to represent all industries and professions involved with property investment.

He is currently working with Deakin University on various research projects and was instrumental in helping them develop their Property Investment Association of Australia (PIAA) Accreditation Program. He is a lecturer, mentor and collaborator with the Deakin University Bachelor of Property and Real Estate (2011) degree. John is a member of the Deakin University Faculty of Business and Law’s Commerce Industry Advisory Board and he is working in collaboration with Deakin University and the Australian Federal Government with regard to a significant property research program.

An accomplished public speaker, John Hopkins is in demand as a presenter for property and investment conferences, workshops, dinners and radio programs to speak about investment, property and economic issues. He has also written hundreds of articles and a syndicated column for print media.

John Hopkins is passionate about the relationship between wealth and lifestyle, and the importance of attaining a balance between personal, occupational and financial interests.
